1. What makes Cousti Designs unique?

The most important factor that makes us unique is the way we care about the customer, and how we will go above and beyond to satisfy each and every need. You know your business, and we know the business of websites. A quality website needs to attract the viewer immediately, and within seconds, convince them to stay. Additionally, a website must be user friendly and effectively communicate the message. This is exactly what we do. We are a two-person team dedicated to delivering quick results at unbeatable prices, and you don't pay us until the job is done.

2. What types of services do you offer?

Web design and site maintenance. We also design marketing tools such as newsletters or invitations that can be sent via HTML emails.

3. How much do you charge?

This of course is dependent upon the job. After the initial consultation, we will give you a price and that price will hold. A typical 4 to 5 page site with a custom contact form will start around R2999 or $395. If there are any significant additions upon completion, we will charge an hourly fee at $30/hour or R230/hour.

This price is also consistent with site maintenance. Keep in mind we are charging an hourly rate and two of us will be working. You will be quoted on the amount of hours so you will know the cost upfront. We do not have a minimum project cost.

4. How will I pay?

We accept transfers from bank accounts in both the United States and in Cape Town. Additionally we have a PayPal account.

5. When do I pay?

Once we sign a contract, you don't pay a dime until the job is done. If we feel the job is large enough, we may ask for a down payment of up to 25%.

6. What is a typical process of start to finish?

1. After discussing what you want, we will determine the scope of the project and you will get a price.

2. We sign a contract, you give us the content (images and text) and then we design what your site will look like in Photoshop.

3. When the design is complete and you like it, we will create the site with XHTML and CSS (language to make the site work on the internet).

4. We will install the site on our server, so you can test it.

5. We collect payment and hand over all the files so you can put it on your server.

7. When will my site be available online?

Upon completion of the website we will upload it on our server for you to view. Once we collect payment we will then hand you all the necessary files so you can upload it on your server. We are more than happy to host the site for you on our server for a competitive price.

8. How will I find a hosting company?

If necessary, we will assist you in finding a web host that suits your needs.

9. How will I update my website?

Your website will be designed so you can easily update it. We are willing to update your site for you if necessary. This will be at an hourly rate. We are willing to charge by the 1/4 hour.
